Mad Max: Fury Road was an amazing film and I really enjoyed it, so I had somewhat high expectations when watching this movie. It feels like they tried capturing the spark of the original remake, but couldn’t quite catch the same lightning in a bottle.
This movie had a few odd plot holes, and the acting felt a bit off, especially by Chris Hemsworth.
It still wasn’t bad per se. It did still have lots of fun action scenes, and the cinematography was great. If they had only fleshed out the story a bit and made it make a bit more sense, it could have been an amazing movie, similar to Fury Road.
